Easy and quick to read and understand; makes the stakes in life clear, and the steps for progress compelling. It’s a great wake-up call and a clear roadmap for happiness in this life and to Heaven in the next.
I received this as a gift and loved it so much. I read it with my husband and we both feel like it really brought us closer together! This book helped my husband and I make plans to better our marriage and our relationship with God.
After reading countless philosophy and theology books I finally had the great pleasure to read this book: Meant for Heaven. The book is precise and top-notch in presenting the path to heaven through loving God. I felt like I was in the presence of a mentor when reading this book. The chapters are fascinating as the author goes through the macro view of life, from birth to death and then goes into the micro view of one’s daily struggle to love God and grow in holiness so that we can rise to our highest spiritual potential and live in heaven with God forever. The author goes through this journey toward accepting Christ and growing in love of God. He also helps the reader build a spiritual game plan with practical daily steps to grow in holiness and stay close to God. All in all I would recommend this short book. It should be read by everyone who is serious about their relationship with God in this life and into eternity.
I still recall the evening I spent with George almost two decades ago, when he drew the Roadmap to Heaven on a napkin over dinner, and advised me that he was working on a book to explain how this can happen. I was amazed at how it checked all the boxes then, practical, short, concise and easy to understand, and it continues to be equally as relevant now. Suffice to say, I still have that napkin, and while it seemed to have taken a long time for this booklet to be published, I can't imagine a more important time as now, given the tremendous crisis affecting Christians on a global level. This book delivers in spades in such an easy and approachable way, advising how to love and glorify God daily. This is really a testament in trusting in God's time and not ours. Thank you George!
