With today being the feast of St. Joseph, we are reminded that he is the father of Jesus and lord of the house of Mary and Jesus. St. Joseph is a model of virtue for all of humanity because he is just and righteous in the eyes of God. St. Teresa of Avila would never tire of advising everyone to go to his intercession for all their needs. As Jesus obeyed his father Joseph while on Earth, so too in Heaven, Jesus continues to obey him. With this great confidence, let us ask St. Joseph for his help to also be just and righteous and to ask his son Jesus to grant us everything we need, in accordance with His Will! That is: to be holy day in and day out, in good times and in bad times, in sickness and in health. He will help us love God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all the days of our life!
