Today, the Church celebrates Jesus Christ rising from the dead! All Christians rejoice today for this wondrous gift and love of God the Father raising His Son, who constantly shows us the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Whenever we feel down, depressed, angry, restless, or any other discomfort, Jesus tells us not to worry about how we feel, if we trust in him, because His Love is so merciful and comforting. Let us always have the desire to begin again, to ask our Lord to resurrect our body of death, which many times stinks and is putrid due to our sins. But when we hear His voice as Lazarus heard his voice “Lazarus, come out”, and Lazarus obeyed and was raised from the dead, so too our Blessed Lord calls us to rise from the dead, from our sins, to be clothed with His Grace, to be embraced with His Love as we live speedily along to Heaven!
